Child Abuse Prevention Month April 2008
April is nationally recognized as Child Abuse Prevention Month. This is the time that the Child & Family Support Center holds its annual Blue Ribbon Benefit Auction and Dinner (Apr 25) . All donations received during the event go directly to the Center.

Annual 5K Race Against Child Abuse April 12, 2008
During April, the annual 5K Race Against Child Abuse is conducted and this has proven to be a terrific community event. If you are interested in donating an item, or making a cash contribution for the auction, please call us at (435) 752-8880. Download the Sign-up Form and Flyer

Blue Ribbon Benefit Dinner & Auction Friday, April 25, 2008
This year's theme is "Phantom of the Opera Masquerade." There will be dinner, dancing, live entertainment, live and silent auctions, and the opportunity to support a truly great cause. A drawing will be held for those purchasing raffle tickets, and the winning name drawn will be awarded $400 round-trip airline tickets to anywhere in the Continental U.S.

This event will be hosted at the Copper Mill Restaurant 55 North Main Street, Logan, and will begin at 6:00 pm. Friday, April 25, 2008. $50 per person or $475 for a table of ten.

Flocked ‘Cha April 2008
Throughout the month of April, watch for our flocks of flamingos ito land! For a small donation, you can request a group of 15-20 plastic pink flamingos to be placed in a yard or at a business of your choice. The CFSC Flamingo Patrol will set up the flocks with a large banner that says, “Flocked ‘Cha. This person cares about protecting children.” Our flamingo activities continue throughout each April in our local grocery stores. For a $1 donation, you can write your name on one of our flamingo circles and see it displayed in the store where it was purchased. This is an easy, fun way to promote awareness about child abuse prevention and to raise funds for the Child & Family Support Center.

Summer Slammer - August 2nd, 2008
Every August we host our annual slow pitch coed softball tournament at the Willow Park Quad. In addition to a fabulous tournament, activities are provided for children, there is delicious food available, as well as a tempting concession stand. Prizes are awarded for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, and for the Home run Derby.
