Crisis Hotline

Attention parents! After a challenging day with your children, do you ever find yourself in the position that you need to talk with an adult? The Child and Family Support Center offers a 24-hour hotline for reasons just like this!

This 24-hotline is used for other situations such as:

  • Parenting information (i.e. discipline, anger management, etc.)
  • To inquire about child development
  • To receive information about other services available in the community.
  • To have a non-judgmental person to listen to your situation and offer constructive feedback.

Examples of reasons parents have called the 24-hour crisis hotline:

  • “My kids have been fighting all day! Do you have any suggestions as to how I can help them to stop and get along?”
  • “I am a stay-at-home mom. I love my children dearly. However, today I have had a tough day. I just need an adult to talk with.”
  • “I think that my next door neighbor may be abusing their child. What should I do?”
  • “My baby won’t stop crying! Do you have any ideas?”
  • “I’m looking for a therapist to take my child to. He is always so angry, and I think that he needs help. Do you have any idea who I can send him to?”

There is no cost for this service!
