Q: Where are you located?

A: Our address is 380 West 1400 North in Logan, Utah (84341). Turn west off of Main Street onto 1400 North. We are on the southeast corner of 1400 North and 400 West.

 

Q: Are you run by the State of Utah?

A: No. We are a private 501(c)3 nonprofit organization governed by a Board of Directors.

Q: Where do you receive your funding?

A: We receive our funding from various grants and donations.

 

Q: How long has the Child & Family Support Center been around?

A: The CFSC was founded in 1982. Since that time, we’ve been able to expand our facility as well as the scope of services we provide to the community.

Q: What ages of children do you take in the Nursery?

A: We can care for children 11-years-old and under.

 

Q: What if I want to donate?

A: As a private, non-profit organization, we welcome donations of any kind. We accept both financial contributions and items for the Center. For a list of needed items, please contact us at (435)752-8880, or visit our Wish List.

Q: How can I volunteer?

A: We always welcome volunteers! If you are interested in volunteering at the Child & Family Support Center, call us at (435) 752-8880. Volunteers are used in a variety of capacities, from helping with children in the Nursery to completing projects around the Center. Background checks are required.

Q: What does it cost to use the Center’s services?

A: All therapy services are provided at no-cost. Several of our classes require a small materials fee. Scholarships are available to families in need.

 

Q: As a parent, I feel a little hesitant leaving my children in the Nursery. What kind of training does your staff have?

A: All of our staff and Nursery volunteers have passed Background Criminal Investigations. Our Nursery staff is also certified in First Aid, CPR and Food Handling. In addition, staff members undergo intensive training before they can provide direct services, and our Nursery is operated in compliance with Utah State Childcare Licensing requirements.

Q: If I utilize services at the Child & Family Support Center, who will know about it?

A: Everything that takes place at the Center is completely confidential. Our clients must sign a release of information before any personal information may be shared with third parties.
