Circle of Friends Supporting Children
The Circle of Friends Committee is a group of dedicated, enthusiastic community volunteers from diverse backgrounds, who plan and implement fundraising activities for the Center. They devote enormous amounts of time and make every even fun and extra-special. We couldn’t function without these incredible people who do so much just because they care New members who are willing to add their energy and ideas to this noble cause are encouraged to join the committee at any time. Simply call the Center for information.
Service Projects
The Child & Family Support Center welcomes donations of all kinds. As a private, nonprofit organization, we appreciate and welcome ideas and suggestions for service projects. Some of the Center’s current “labor” needs include the following:
- Food Drive
- Minor Repairs
- Sterilizing Toys
- Window Washing
- Office Supplies Drive
- Fundraising Car Wash
- Computer Tech Assistance
- Center-wide Deep Cleaning
- Center-wide Carpet Cleaning
- Installation of Outdoor Lights
- Solar Lights For Landscaping
- Yard Weeding/Weed Spraying
- Lawn Aerating/Mowing/Edging
- Broken Sprinkler Pipe Repaired
- Gravel Put Around Air Conditioners
- Installing Overhead Speaker System Throughout Center.
If there are any service projects of interest to individuals, couples, families, businesses, clubs, Scouts or other groups, please contact us. We would love to have your help to improve the Center so we can concentrate upon our mission of Strengthening Families and Protecting Children.
