Outreach
Are you running out of ideas, need
an outside perspective, or just
wanting to learn more parenting
information?
Outreach is an in-home parenting program where a Parent Advocate will come to your home once weekly for approximately 1 hour. Our service area includes all parts of Cache and Rich Counties. Parent Advocates will bring information on any parenting concern you may have.
Topics may include:
- Discipline
- Cooperation
- Responsibility
- How to Handle Anger
- and many more
Outreach workers can also provide
parents with support as well as
helping them find services that
may help them in their situation.
The outreach program is here to
help strengthen families. This service
is free of charge and any family
is welcome to use the service. The
first step in setting up outreach
is to call the Child & Family
Support Center and scheduling an
intake. An intake is a time to meet
the outreach worker, share background
information and letting the outreach
worker know what your main concerns
are.
Quotes from parents:
“How can I set up limits, giving
good choices and consequences?”
“My five year old is hitting
and I don’t know what else
I can do?"
“I have learned to see hard
situations in a different way."
“I am now able to use creative
solutions when the standard doesn’t
work.” |
