Outreach—An In-home Parenting Resource for Families

Would you like to improve your parenting skills, learn new discipline techniques and/or create a more positive atmosphere in your home?

The Child & Family Support Center’s Outreach Program is an in-home parenting program where clients have an opportunity to meet with a staff member called a “Parent Advocate” for approximately one hour on a weekly basis. During the course of a family’s involvement with Outreach, specific objectives are outlined to accomplish the participants’ goals, and the Parent Advocate provides personalized information, community referrals and hands-on activities to facilitate the learning process. Our service area encompasses all of Cache and Rich Counties, and services are provided free of charge.
Some of the topics addressed in Outreach include:

  • Child Development
  • Social Skills
  • Communication
  • Discipline
  • Stress Relief Techniques and Anger Management
  • Cooperation and Responsibility
  • And Many More!

Outreach workers provide parents with personal support and help them find community services and other resources that may improve their family life. The Outreach Program is here to help strengthen families, and every family is welcome to utilize this service. For more information about the Child & Family Support Center’s Outreach Program, contact (435) 752-8880.
